Gel Polish - Sweet Lilac, 10 ml

Sweet Lilac Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a light pink with a cool lilac undertone. A soft, fresh pink for understated everyday manicures.

The lilac undertone cools the pink, so it reads fresh rather than sugary and sits nicely next to silver jewellery. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Sweet Lilac over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply

1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
4. Apply Sweet Lilac in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

What is the hardest part of gel application to master?
Working right up to the cuticle on every finger of both hands without touching the skin. On a light pink such as Sweet Lilac a slip is less obvious than on a dark colour, but it will still lift later, so clean it away before curing.

How is Sweet Lilac different from Panna Cotta?
The undertone is the difference. Panna Cotta is a pastel pink with a warm undertone, while Sweet Lilac is a light pink with a cool lilac undertone, so it looks fresher and cooler on the nail.

Can I use Sweet Lilac as a base for nail art?
Yes. Cure Sweet Lilac fully, then add fine lines, dots or stamping in white, silver or a deeper lilac on top. Finish the whole nail with a top coat so the design and the colour share one shine.
