BLOSSOM by ReformA is five gel polishes of 10 ml each: four opaque nudes for French and single-colour work, and one sheer cat eye.
The collection was put together for people who are particular about exactly these shades: the ground under a French, the nude, the cool milky tone. BLOSSOM holds the most universal shade for each of those three jobs.

How to pick a shade

For a French. Nectar gives the classic beige ground, Petal is pink and reads as colour, Tulip stays almost invisible under the smile line.

For single-colour work. Any of the four opaque shades: Nectar or Petal on a warm hand, Iris on a cool one, Tulip on a neutral one.

For a cool milky finish. Iris, the only milky shade in the collection, with a cool undertone that keeps it from running yellow.

For an accent and a shine. Cat Eye Clear White over any of the four.
All five come in 10 ml bottles with a brush, in a self-levelling yoghurt consistency, and work on the natural nail, gel, acrylic and polygel. More skin-toned shades are in the nude gel polish section, pale ones in milky white and white gel polish, and the whole 10 ml colour line is here.
How to work with the collection
- Prepare the plate, apply a base coat in two thin layers and cure.
- Apply the first coat of the shade you have chosen and cure.
- Apply the second coat to full coverage and cure.
- With Cat Eye Clear White, put it over the colour and hold a magnet 2 to 5 mm above the coating before curing, until the band of light appears.
- Seal with a top coat and cure.
Curing time: 60...120 sec in an LED lamp, 30...60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. The time depends on the power of the lamp and on the diodes themselves, and has to be checked separately for each product.

What is gel polish?
It is a material between nail lacquer and gel: it stays liquid until it goes into the lamp, where photoinitiators start the polymerisation and harden it. The film stays flexible and glossy, and it comes off with a remover or an e-file rather than with acetone-free polish remover.
How do I choose a gel polish colour that suits my skin tone?
Read the undertone first, from the veins at the wrist: greenish means warm, blue means cool. From this collection a warm hand takes Nectar or Petal, a cool hand Iris, a neutral hand Tulip. Try the shade against the inside of the wrist rather than against the palm.
How often should gel nails be redone?
On healthy nails a ReformA coating holds for up to 3 weeks in most cases. How long it holds depends on nail preparation, application technique, the condition of the nails, lifestyle and the load on the hands. In practice the appointment is set by regrowth rather than by the colour itself.
How many coats of gel polish should I apply?
Two thin coats over a cured base coat, each cured separately. All four opaque shades in BLOSSOM reach their own colour in exactly two. If a shade still looks patchy after two coats, the coats were too thin rather than too few.
How do Petal, Tulip and Nectar differ as a French base?
Nectar is beige and warm, the classic ground. Petal is pink and warm, visible as colour. Tulip is dusty and neutral, almost invisible. More materials for the technique are in the French manicure section.
How does Cat Eye Clear White work over the other shades?
It is sheer and does not cover the colour, it changes it: depth, a glass shine and movement in the light. Over Petal, Tulip, Iris and Nectar the same bottle gives four different results. The band of light only appears under a magnet.
