Taboo Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a muted pink with a greyish-beige undertone and full coverage in two coats. A dusty pink for understated everyday nails.
The greyish-beige undertone tones the pink down into a smoky shade close to nude. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Taboo over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Taboo in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
Can gel polish be applied over builder gel or acrylic?
Yes. Taboo adheres to natural nails, builder gel, acrylic and polygel. On an enhancement, file and clean the surface, apply a base just as you would on a natural nail, then two thin coats of colour, each cured.
How is Taboo different from Blush?
Taboo is a muted pink with a greyish-beige undertone, Blush a pink with a cool violet one. Taboo reads smoky and close to nude, Blush cleaner and cooler.
Is Taboo a good choice for a strict dress code?
Yes. After a nude, it is one of the most neutral options. The greyish-beige undertone takes the brightness out of the pink, so the nails read as well kept rather than as a colour statement.
