Brandy Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a brown with a warm bronze undertone, dense glitter and full coverage in two coats. A bronze-brown sparkle for autumn looks.

Together, the warm bronze undertone and the dense glitter give a metallic effect rather than a plain brown. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Brandy over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply

  1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
  2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
  3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
  4. Apply Brandy in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
  5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
  6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

What is the correct order of steps for removing gel polish?
With a dense glitter like Brandy, file off the top coat and most of the glitter layer first, then soak with a gel remover and ease the softened product off with a pusher, never by force. Alcohol or peroxide will not do the job: at most they soften the edge.

How is Brandy different from Masquerade?
The base colour is different: Brandy is a brown with a warm bronze undertone, Masquerade a very dark cherry. Brandy also carries dense glitter where Masquerade has fine glitter, so Brandy looks more metallic.

Does Brandy need a separate top coat over the glitter?
Yes, and a slightly more generous one. Dense glitter leaves a texture that a thin top coat cannot fully level, and without it the surface stays rough and dulls sooner.
