How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply She in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
Why does regrowth show less on some shades?
Nails grow all the time, so a gap at the cuticle appears within a couple of weeks whatever the product. How much it shows depends on the shade: She sits close to the colour of the nail bed, so the regrowth line is far less visible than with dark or bright colours.
How is She different from Baby Girl?
Both have a neutral undertone and cover fully in two coats. Baby Girl is a pastel pink and the lighter of the two, while She is a clean, pure pink. They work well together in one set.
Is She a good base for a French?
Yes. A natural pink with full coverage in two coats evens out the nail bed and gives a neat background for the smile line. Cure She fully before you draw the tips, then seal everything with a top coat.
