How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Karmelitta in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
Which colours go with a warm salmon-peach?
Karmelitta sits well with warm nudes, white and soft gold accents. For contrast, pair it with a cool grey on one or two nails.
How is Karmelitta different from Love Letter?
Both are warm salmon tones. Love Letter is a salmon with a warm pink undertone and dense glitter, made for festive nails, while Karmelitta is a salmon-peach for a clean single colour.
Can I do a French over Karmelitta?
Yes. Cure Karmelitta fully, then draw the white tip line with a thin brush and cure it. Seal the whole nail with a top coat. A warm peach under white gives a softer French than a pink base.
