Gel Polish - Wild Orchid, 10 ml

Wild Orchid Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a light lilac with a cool undertone and a silver shimmer. A cool lilac with a soft sparkle.

The silver shimmer brightens the cool lilac and lifts it from pastel to something a little more festive. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Wild Orchid over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

Use it for

How to apply

1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
4. Apply Wild Orchid in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

What do I do if the client's nail is longer on one hand than the other?
File the longer nails down until both hands match, or talk it through and leave a slight difference if the client prefers. The eye notices an uneven shape far sooner than a millimetre of length, and a light shade like Wild Orchid tends to hide small differences better than a dark one.

How is Wild Orchid different from Whisper Violet?
Both are lilacs with a cool undertone. Whisper Violet is a soft lilac for gentle single-colour nails, while Wild Orchid adds a silver shimmer that catches the light.

Does a silver shimmer work with a matte top coat?
Yes, but it changes the look. A matte top coat mutes any shimmer, so the silver in Wild Orchid shows at its fullest under a glossy top coat.
