How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Berry Fantasy in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make any gel colour matte?
Yes. Berry Fantasy needs no special matte version: finish the cured colour with a matte top coat instead of a gloss one. The shade stays the same, only the finish changes, so the same bottle gives you both looks.
How is Berry Fantasy different from Sweet Cherry?
Both are pale, cool shades. Berry Fantasy is a lilac, while Sweet Cherry is a pink-lilac, so Sweet Cherry reads pinker on the nail.
How do I get an even finish with a pale shade?
Apply two full, even coats and cure each one. With a pale colour like Berry Fantasy, an even result depends more on a smooth, well-levelled base than on the colour itself.
