How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Sleigh in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
How do I match gel polish to an outfit or an event?
Go by undertone rather than the exact colour. Sleigh has a warm copper undertone, so it sits naturally with warm, autumn-toned outfits, and its silver flash particles light up in evening photos.
What is the difference between Sleigh and Fireplace?
Fireplace is a yellow gold with opalescent flash particles. Sleigh is a russet gold with a copper undertone and silver particles, so it is warmer at the base but gives a cooler flash.
Does a copper shade suit cool skin?
Warm copper looks most natural on warm and neutral skin. On cool skin Sleigh reads with more contrast, and the silver flash partly balances that out.
Colours on screen can look different from the real shade: monitor calibration and display settings both affect it. If you are unsure about a shade, get in touch and we will show you the actual colour.
