Gel Polish - Polar Sky, 10 ml
SKU: 941580
Polar Sky Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a dark blue with a cool undertone, opalescent reflective flash particles and full coverage in two coats. Dark blue with an opalescent flash.
The flash particles light up in direct light and under a camera flash, while in diffused light the coating looks almost solid. On a dark blue base the pearly flash shows at its most contrasting. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Polar Sky over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Polar Sky in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my gel polish dull instead of glossy?
Check the top coat first: it may be undercured, it may have been touched before it went into the lamp, or its tacky layer was wiped off with the wrong liquid. Polar Sky can also look flatter in diffused light, because its flash particles only come alive under direct light; that is not a lack of gloss.
How is Polar Sky different from Yacht?
Both are dark blues. Yacht carries dense glitter with a noticeable texture, while Polar Sky has reflective particles that leave the surface smooth. Yacht sparkles all the time; Polar Sky flashes only under direct light.
Does Polar Sky need two coats of top coat?
No. Flash particles do not stand proud of the surface, so one even coat of top coat is enough. A second coat is only needed over dense glitter.
Colours on screen can look different from the real shade: monitor calibration and display settings both affect it. If you are unsure about a shade, get in touch and we will show you the actual colour.
