La Plena Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a raspberry red with a cool undertone and full coverage in two coats. A rich raspberry red for solid single-colour nails.
The cool undertone keeps the colour poised between red and raspberry, so it looks bright and deep at the same time. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply La Plena over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply La Plena in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to buy gel polish from online marketplaces?
Buy from the brand or an authorised seller where you can. Bottles from unknown sellers may have been stored badly, be past their date or already opened. If you do buy La Plena second-hand, ask for a photo of the date on the bottom of the bottle and never take opened bottles.
How is La Plena different from Seductive?
Seductive is a raspberry with a cool pink-red undertone, La Plena a raspberry red with a cool one. La Plena reads redder, Seductive pinker.
Does a cool red suit warm skin?
It looks more contrasting on warm skin than a warm red does, but it does not clash. If you want a more natural result on warm skin, choose a red with an orange undertone instead of La Plena.
