Beta Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a black with a neutral undertone, red glitter flecks and full coverage in two coats. Black with red sparks of glitter.

How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Beta in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
How do I apply glitter gel polish evenly?
With Beta there is no need to dab the glitter into place: the red flecks are already spread through the black base. Brush it on like a normal colour in thin coats, from cuticle to free edge in one direction, and cure each coat. Black shows every brush mark, so do not go back over a coat.
How is Beta different from Spotlight?
Spotlight is a black with a cool greenish undertone and dense glitter. Beta has a neutral undertone and sparse red flecks, so they read as separate sparks rather than an all-over sparkle.
Why does the top coat come away from Beta while the base holds?
The bond between the colour and the top has failed. Usually the colour was undercured, or its tacky layer was wiped off before the top coat. Do not cleanse Beta before topping: that tacky layer helps the top coat grip.
Colours on screen can look different from the real shade: monitor calibration and display settings both affect it. If you are unsure about a shade, get in touch and we will show you the actual colour.
