How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Beautiful in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
Which gel colours show chips the least?
Pale shades close to the natural nail. On a light pink like Beautiful, a small chip or a regrowth gap hardly stands out, since the coating and the nail are close in tone. Dark and bright colours make the same flaw obvious.
How is Beautiful different from Sweet Cherry?
Sweet Cherry is a pale pink-lilac, so lilac is part of its main colour. In Beautiful the lilac sits only in the undertone, which keeps the shade pinker.
Can Beautiful be used as a base for a French?
Yes, that is one of its uses. A pale pink with a cool lilac undertone gives a soft, restrained background for the smile line. Cure Beautiful fully before you paint the tips.
