How to apply

1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
4. Apply Cookie Monster in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

Can I apply a second colour over cured gel polish?
Yes. Cure Cookie Monster fully first, then paint the second colour on top for fine lines or a design, curing it the same way. Finish with a top coat over everything so the whole nail has the same shine.

How is Cookie Monster different from Bubbles?
Bubbles is a light blue with a cool blue undertone and full coverage in two coats. Cookie Monster is a pale blue with a cool undertone, the softer and paler of the two.

Does pale blue make veins on the hands more visible?
Cool blues such as Cookie Monster can make veins look bluer, especially on thin, fair skin. Denser shades handle this better than sheer ones, because they give more contrast.
