How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Bad Boys in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my top coat have a ridge near the cuticle?
Usually there is too much top coat near the cuticle, or the colour stops short and leaves a step. Take Bad Boys close to the cuticle on the second coat with a fine brush and very little product, then apply a thin top coat that follows the same line.
How is Bad Boys different from Take A Cab?
Both have a cool purple undertone. Take A Cab is a dark violet, while Bad Boys looks deeper still.
What is Bad Boys best suited to?
Deep single-colour nails and evening manicures at any length. It also works as a dark accent next to nude nails.
