How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Glass Light Blue in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
How should I store gel polish?
Upright, tightly closed and away from sunlight, radiators and the nail lamp. Avoid the fridge: temperature swings make the texture uneven, and condensation on a cold bottle can get into the product. If space is tight, keep Glass Light Blue in a sealed box.
How is Glass Light Blue different from Glass Blue?
Glass Blue is the deeper, more saturated of the two. Glass Light Blue is lighter and more transparent. Both give a stained-glass effect.
Can Glass Light Blue be worn on a natural nail?
Yes, that is its main use: the colour works like a light filter and does not hide the nail plate. For a more saturated result, apply it over a milky base.
Colours on screen can look different from the real shade: monitor calibration and display settings both affect it. If you are unsure about a shade, get in touch and we will show you the actual colour.
