Affair Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a bright red with a neutral undertone. A pure, bright red with no lean towards warm or cool.
The neutral undertone means the colour keeps its character as the light changes and does not clash with the skin's own undertone. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Affair over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Affair in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Do I need a primer as well as a base coat?
Yes, it is part of the standard prep: after the dehydrator, Ultrabond Primer goes on for better adhesion to the nail plate, then the base. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries. Under Affair, apply it sparingly and keep it away from the skin.
How is Affair different from Red Lipstick?
Red Lipstick is a bright red with a warm orange undertone. Affair is neutral, so next to Red Lipstick it looks cleaner and less warm.
Does Affair change character under different lighting?
No. Thanks to its neutral undertone, Affair keeps its character as the light changes, which makes it a reliable choice for events and photo shoots.
