Almandine Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a saturated red that leans neither warm nor cool, with full coverage in two coats. A rich classic red for any nail length.
The neutral undertone makes this saturated red easy to wear on both warm and cool skin. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Almandine over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Almandine in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I peel gel polish off?
Peeling Almandine off pulls away the top layers of the nail plate with it, leaving the nail thin, rough and weak. Remove it properly instead: file away the gloss of the top coat, soak, then push the softened product off gently.
How is Almandine different from Red Lipstick?
Both are reds with full coverage in two coats. Almandine has a neutral undertone, Red Lipstick a warm orange one, so Red Lipstick looks warmer and Almandine more balanced.
How long does Almandine last?
On healthy nails a ReformA coating holds for up to 3 weeks in most cases. How long it holds depends on nail preparation, application technique, the condition of the nails, lifestyle and the load on the hands.
