Gel Polish - Banana Mama, 10 ml

Banana Mama Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a neon lime green with a warm yellow-green undertone. Loud, sunny colour for summer hands and feet.

The warm yellow-green undertone gives the lime a sunny glow, which looks especially vivid on tanned skin. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Banana Mama over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply

1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
4. Apply Banana Mama in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

Can gel polish on toenails cause ingrown nails?
Not the gel itself. The risk comes from shaping: file toenails straight across and only soften the sharp corners, never round them deeply into the sides. Then Banana Mama can go on a pedicure like any other colour.

How is Banana Mama different from Fiore?
Both have a warm yellow-green undertone. Fiore is a bright grass green, while Banana Mama is a neon lime, so it is more acidic and the louder of the two.

Should a neon go over a white base?
It helps. A cured coat of a white such as White Queen under Banana Mama makes the neon read brighter and cleaner. Cure the white fully first, then apply the neon in thin coats on top.
