Gel Polish Cat Eye Pure Pink, 10 ml by ReformA is a sheer soft pink cat eye with a distinctive glitter shimmer, from the WATER CAT EYE collection.
The formula is light and adds no thickness. Pure Pink goes on over a cured base or over a cured colour, and the band of light appears when a magnet passes over the uncured coat. A 10 ml bottle with a brush. It is the lightest pink in the collection: it tints the ground only slightly and is the usual choice when the colour underneath should stay recognisable.

Use it for
- A soft sheer manicure over a nude or milky ground.
- A finishing accent that barely shifts the colour underneath.
- Work over cover bases and gels in nude and pink.
- More pale pinks in the light pink gel polish section.
How to apply
- Do the manicure with a cuticle remover: place a drop on the cuticle, push it back and take off the pterygium.
- Degrease the plate with Nail Prep, then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion. The primer is not cured, it flashes off in the air.
- Apply a base coat in two thin layers and cure. If you want a colour underneath, apply and cure it now.
- Apply one coat of Pure Pink. Keep the hand in the air and do not touch the underside of the free edge with the brush.
- Before curing, hold the magnet 2 to 5 mm above the nail until the band of light appears.
- Cure the coat. Repeat the coat and the magnet if you want a stronger line.
- Seal with a top coat and cure. Apply cuticle oil no earlier than 30 seconds after the top coat is cured.
Curing time: 60...120 sec in an LED lamp, 30...60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. The time depends on the power of the lamp and on the diodes themselves, and has to be checked separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a special base under cat eye gel polish?
Any standard base works, and the colour underneath is what changes the result. A dark ground sharpens the contrast of the band; a nude ground gives a softer line. Pure Pink is deliberately light, so it shows its best on a pale ground rather than on a dark one.
How is Pure Pink different from Dear Pink?
Depth. Pure Pink is the light one and leaves the ground mostly as it was; Dear Pink is richer and reads as a pink of its own over the same base. Both are sheer and both carry the same shimmer.
Can Pure Pink be worn without a colour underneath?
Yes, over a clear or nude base. It comes out as a soft pink veil with a band of light in it, which is the quietest result in the collection. Over a white or milky ground the same bottle reads brighter.
