Gel Polish - Forrest, 10 ml

Forrest Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a very dark green with a cool undertone and full coverage in two coats. A near-black green for the deepest single colour.

The cool undertone takes this dark green so deep that it reads as black in low light. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Forrest over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply

1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
4. Apply Forrest in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

How do I cap the free edge without product running underneath?
Pick up very little product and draw the brush along the edge with light pressure, holding it almost flat. With Forrest, cap the edge with each coat and cure straight away. If gel creeps onto the skin, clean it off before curing.

How is Forrest different from Green Bottle?
Green Bottle is a dark green with a cool blue-green undertone, Forrest a very dark green with a cool one. Forrest is the deeper of the two and closer to black.

Is a very dark colour harder to remove?
No. Soak-off time depends on the base and the top coat, not on the pigment. Any residue of Forrest is simply more visible on the nail, so removal can seem to take longer.
