I Don't Know Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a rust brown-red with a warm undertone. An earthy tone that suits autumn manicures and pedicures.

The warm undertone gives this brown-red a spiced, rusty warmth that sits well with gold jewellery and autumn knitwear. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply I Don't Know over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply

  1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
  2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
  3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
  4. Apply I Don't Know in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
  5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
  6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

What should a technician ask before a first gel service?
Ask about any reactions to nail products in the past, current nail or skin problems, medication that affects the nails, and how the client uses her hands day to day. Then agree on length, shape and a shade such as I Don't Know before you start.

What goes well with I Don't Know?
Warm neutrals and gold. A nude on the other nails keeps the look calm, and a warm glitter such as Monte Carlo on one accent nail picks up the rusty warmth of I Don't Know.

Is a rust shade a good choice for a pedicure?
Yes. Warm, earthy tones like I Don't Know look natural on feet and stay easy to wear from early autumn into winter. Keep the coats thin on toenails too, and cap the free edge so the colour holds at the tip.

Colours on screen can look different from the real shade: monitor calibration and display settings both affect it. If you are unsure about a shade, get in touch and we will show you the actual colour.
