Gel Polish - Luminous Luster, 10 ml

Luminous Luster Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a rich fuchsia with a cool purple undertone and dense glitter. A festive glitter shade for accents and all-over colour.

The glitter is densely spread, so the shade works both on its own and as an accent over a solid colour. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Luminous Luster over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply

1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
4. Apply Luminous Luster in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

Can I remove gel polish in the bath or shower?
No. Water does not dissolve cured gel, it only softens the skin around the nail. Luminous Luster comes off with remover once the top coat has been filed back to matte, and with dense glitter that filing step is essential.

How is Luminous Luster different from San Francisco?
Both carry dense glitter and have a cool undertone. San Francisco is built on a neon pink, while Luminous Luster is a rich fuchsia with a purple undertone.

Can I apply Luminous Luster over another colour?
Yes. The dense glitter works both on its own and as a finish over a solid shade. Over a dark colour the glitter looks more contrasting, over a light one softer.
