Maldives Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a pastel violet with a warm pink undertone, a neon effect and full coverage in two coats. A pastel violet with a neon glow.
The neon pigment in a pastel base gives an unusual result: the colour stays light but glows from within in sunlight. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Maldives over a light, cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Maldives in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Can gel polish be applied to fingernails and toenails on the same day?
Yes, it is a common combined booking. Maldives works on both, and one shade on hands and feet suits a summer look.
How is Maldives different from Whisper Violet?
Whisper Violet is a lilac with a cool violet undertone and no neon effect. Maldives is a pastel violet with a warm pink undertone and neon pigment, so in sunlight it looks lighter and brighter.
Is the neon effect visible indoors?
Only faintly. Neon pigments respond to ultraviolet light, so Maldives is at its brightest outdoors on a sunny day. Indoors it reads as a regular pastel violet.
