Gel Polish - Papaya, 10 ml
SKU: 941193
Papaya Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a warm neon orange that gives full coverage in two coats. Bright, vivid colour for summer nails.
Neon pigments are naturally sheer, so Papaya comes into its own over a light base: a milky or nude cover base underneath is the way to go. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Seal Papaya with a top coat.

How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Papaya in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
Why did my gel polish change colour after a few days?
With a neon, strong sun is the usual reason. UV breaks down organic pigments, and it shows first on neon, fuchsia and coral shades, and Papaya is a neon. A top coat with a UV filter slows this down, but after a beach holiday a bright neon is best refreshed.
How is Papaya different from Safari?
Both are neon oranges with full coverage in two coats. Safari has a warm red undertone and reads closer to tangerine, while Papaya has a plain warm undertone and reads as a purer orange.
Which base should I use under Papaya?
A light one. Choose a milky or nude cover base from our base coat range: over a clear base some of the light passes into the nail and the neon looks duller.
Colours on screen can look different from the real shade: monitor calibration and display settings both affect it. If you are unsure about a shade, get in touch and we will show you the actual colour.
