How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Patience in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
How far in advance of a wedding should the bride have gel nails?
Two to four days before is usually best: the coating has settled and regrowth does not show in the photos. On the day itself there is no time left to fix anything. A soft, milky shade like Patience is a natural choice for bridal nails.
How is Patience different from Milky Pink?
Milky Pink is a semi-sheer milky pink with a warm undertone. Patience has a cool undertone, so it looks cooler on the nail.
Can Patience be used under a French or baby boomer?
Yes, that is one of its main uses. The milky pink gives a soft base for a white smile line or a baby boomer gradient. Cure Patience fully before you start the design.
