How to apply

1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
4. Apply Red Jam in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

What does a gel top coat do?
It seals the colour, gives the final finish and takes the daily wear. Over Red Jam it has one more job: levelling the texture of the dense glitter, which is why it needs two coats, the first to smooth and the second for the gloss.

How is Red Jam different from Epsilon?
Epsilon is a dark red with a neutral undertone and dense glitter. Red Jam has the same type of glitter in a bright red base, so it reads lighter and more vivid.

Can Red Jam be worn next to a plain red?
Yes, that is one of its classic uses. One or two Red Jam nails next to a solid red manicure add sparkle while the colour stays the same.
