How to apply

1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
4. Apply Sus Labios in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

How is a gel pedicure different from a gel manicure?
The prep is the same; the difference is mostly technique. Toenails flex less and grow more slowly, and the coats near the sidewalls should stay especially thin. Sus Labios suits both, so one bottle covers a red manicure and a matching red pedicure.

How is Sus Labios different from Brazil?
Brazil is a red with a cool raspberry undertone and reads closer to berry. Sus Labios has a neutral undertone, which makes it the cleaner, more classic red. Both cover fully in two coats.

Should I cap the free edge with both base and top coat?
Yes. Capping the free edge with base and top coat noticeably reduces chips at the tip. Run the brush lightly along the edge so the product does not curl under the nail.
