Yellow Mustard Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a mustard yellow with a warm undertone. An earthy, grown-up yellow for autumn nails.

The warm undertone softens the yellow into a spiced, autumnal mustard that sits easily with browns and golds. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Yellow Mustard over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply

  1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
  2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
  3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
  4. Apply Yellow Mustard in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
  5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
  6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if I leave gel polish on for two months?
The nail grows out, the gap at the cuticle widens and the free edge carries more weight, so lifting and breaks become more likely. Trapped moisture under a lifted edge is a further risk. Have Yellow Mustard removed and redone when the regrowth shows.

How is Yellow Mustard different from Blazing Yellow?
Both are warm yellows. Blazing Yellow is a rich yellow with a warm golden undertone, while Yellow Mustard is a muted mustard, so it reads earthier and less bright.

How do I get a neat finish with a warm yellow?
Level the nail with a base first and keep the coats thin and even, because any bump in the surface underneath shows through the colour. Clean up the sidewalls with a fine brush before curing Yellow Mustard, then seal it with a glossy top coat.

Colours on screen can look different from the real shade: monitor calibration and display settings both affect it. If you are unsure about a shade, get in touch and we will show you the actual colour.
