Ultra Violet Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a clean violet with a neutral undertone, opaque in two coats. Everyday colour for single-shade nails.

The neutral undertone gives an even violet with no lean towards blue or pink. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Ultra Violet over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply

  1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
  2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
  3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
  4. Apply Ultra Violet in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
  5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
  6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

Can I wear gel nails in a laboratory or clinical setting?
It depends on the rules of your workplace. Many clinical settings do not allow nail coatings at all for infection-control reasons, so check before your appointment. Where coatings are allowed, a short single-colour manicure in a shade like Ultra Violet is the practical choice.

How is Ultra Violet different from Gamma?
Both are violets with full coverage in two coats. Ultra Violet has a neutral undertone and is a solid colour, while Gamma has a cool undertone and specks of red glitter.

Will a violet look patchy without a light base?
No. The dense pigment of Ultra Violet covers the nail plate in two thin coats. A light base only affects how clean the colour looks, not the final density.

Colours on screen can look different from the real shade: monitor calibration and display settings both affect it. If you are unsure about a shade, get in touch and we will show you the actual colour.
