How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Gamma in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my top coat lose its shine after a few days?
Usually it was undercured or met household chemicals too soon. Over Gamma, cure the top coat for the full time, wipe the tacky layer only if your top coat has one, and wear gloves for cleaning and hair dye.
How is Gamma different from Beta?
Both carry red glitter specks and full coverage in two coats. The base differs: Beta is black, Gamma a cool violet, so Gamma looks softer.
Do the glitter specks make removal harder?
Scattered specks block the remover less than solid glitter, but you still file off the shine before soaking Gamma. Without that step the remover cannot get through the top coat.
Colours on screen can look different from the real shade: monitor calibration and display settings both affect it. If you are unsure about a shade, get in touch and we will show you the actual colour.
