Gel Polish - Choco, 10 ml

Choco Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a muted brown with a grey note in its warm undertone, opaque in two coats. An easy, quiet brown for everyday nails.

The grey element tones the warm brown down, so the colour looks quiet and restrained, with no orange cast. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Choco over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply

1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
4. Apply Choco in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

Can gel polish hide signs of nail disease?
Yes. An opaque shade such as Choco covers the nail plate completely, so changes underneath stay out of sight. That is why the natural nail should be checked at every removal, and dark streaks, lifting from the nail bed or thickening are for a doctor to look at.

How is Choco different from Milk Chocolate?
Both are warm browns that cover in two coats. Milk Chocolate looks deeper and richer on the nail, while Choco is lighter and greyer, so it reads quieter and closer to taupe.

Can a brown replace black in a manicure?
In practice, yes. A muted brown like Choco gives a similar depth but looks softer on the hand and contrasts less with the skin. On short nails it is one of the calmest dark options.
