Gel Polish - Confident, 10 ml

Confident Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a pale, cool blue. A light colour for spring manicures.

The cool undertone keeps the blue fresh and stops it turning grey. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Confident over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply

1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
4. Apply Confident in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

Does hand cream affect gel polish?
Not once the coating is cured, so clients can use it as normal. During the service, though, keep cream and oil off the nail plate: any residue under the base weakens adhesion. Cuticle oil goes on only after the top coat over Confident is cured.

What is the difference between Confident and Horizon?
Horizon is a pastel blue. Confident is the paler and cooler of the two.

Does Confident work as a base for nail art?
Yes. A pale, cool blue gives a calm background for fine lines, dots and small details. Cure Confident fully before you start the design, then seal everything with a top coat.
