Blue Lagoon Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a Prussian blue with a cool ultramarine undertone and full coverage in two coats. A deep, saturated blue for statement single-colour nails.
The ultramarine undertone keeps the blue clean and saturated, with no lean towards green or violet. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Blue Lagoon over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Blue Lagoon in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
Should the base coat cap the free edge too?
Yes, capping starts with the base. Then cap the free edge again with each coat of Blue Lagoon and with the top coat. If only the top coat is capped, the layers beneath are left open at the tip, and that is where water gets in.
How is Blue Lagoon different from Avatar?
Both are opaque blues that cover in two coats. Avatar has a neutral undertone, Blue Lagoon an ultramarine one. Next to Avatar, Blue Lagoon looks deeper and cleaner, while Avatar reads calmer.
Can a bright blue stain the nail?
Bright blue pigments can stain keratin if the colour goes straight onto the nail plate. A full base layer under Blue Lagoon removes that problem completely, because it works as a barrier between the pigment and the nail.
