Gel Polish - Gargamel, 10 ml
SKU: 941107
Gargamel Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a dark grey with a cool graphite undertone and full coverage in two coats. A graphite grey for understated everyday nails.
The cool graphite undertone stops the grey drifting towards beige, so the colour stays clean on both fair and tanned skin. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Gargamel over a cured base and finish it with a top coat.

How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Gargamel in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
What do I do if a client's nail is lifted at one corner only?
Take the lifted product off that corner back to where it is still firmly attached, then prep the exposed plate again before rebuilding with base and Gargamel. Re-seal the whole nail with top coat and cap the free edge. On a dark grey any step at the repair shows, so keep the new coats thin.
How is Gargamel different from Cave?
Cave is a grey with a neutral undertone. Gargamel is a dark grey with a cool graphite undertone, so it reads deeper and cooler on the nail. Both cover fully in two coats.
Is a dark grey too severe for very short nails?
No, as long as the coating is even and stays off the cuticle. Keep the same gap from the cuticle and sidewalls on every nail: on a dark colour an uneven margin shows far more than the nail length does.
Colours on screen can look different from the real shade: monitor calibration and display settings both affect it. If you are unsure about a shade, get in touch and we will show you the actual colour.
