Hallerbos Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a very dark bottle green with a cool undertone. A near-black green for the deepest single-colour nails.

The cool undertone makes the bottle green so dark that in low light it reads as black. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Hallerbos over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply

1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
4. Apply Hallerbos in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Which top coat does not change the shade of dark colours?
Any clear top coat works. A glossy top adds shine and a touch of depth but no new colour, and on a near-black green like Hallerbos that shift is hard to see at all. Choose the top coat by the finish you want rather than by the shade.
