Iconique Rouge Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a red with a cool berry-red undertone and full coverage in two coats. A cool red for a classic manicure.

The berry-red undertone gives a red that does not drift towards orange, either in daylight or in photos. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Iconique Rouge over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply

1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
4. Apply Iconique Rouge in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

What does period after opening mean on a gel polish?
That small open-jar icon with a figure such as 12M tells you how long the gel keeps working as intended after the bottle is first used. The date for an unopened bottle is separate. For Iconique Rouge, check the figure on its own packaging: there is no single figure for every gel.

How is Iconique Rouge different from Amour?
Amour has a neutral undertone, Iconique Rouge a cool berry-red one. Side by side, Iconique Rouge reads cooler and deeper. Both cover fully in two coats.

Which red works best for photos?
A cool red behaves more predictably on camera, because it does not shift towards orange under warm light. Iconique Rouge is also a solid colour without glitter, which photographs cleanly.
