Gel Polish One Step Glow, 10 ml
SKU: 947152
Gel Polish One Step Glow, 10 ml by ReformA is a light lilac with a cool undertone and a dense fine shimmer. One step means base, colour and top are gathered in a single bottle: on a healthy plate Glow goes on with no separate base and no top coat.
Glow is the only cool shade in the CLEAN GIRL collection, which is what makes it the counterweight to the warm Glaze and Spark. The shimmer is fine and dense, so it reads as a glow across the nail rather than as separate particles. Two thin coats, each cured separately, a 10 ml bottle with a brush.

How to apply
- Do the manicure with a cuticle remover: place a drop on the cuticle, push it back and take off the pterygium down to a clean, dry plate.
- Go over the surface of the nail with a 180 grit file and remove the dust. A single-phase formula holds by mechanical adhesion, so this step is not skipped.
- Degrease the plate with Duo Prep and stop touching the nail with your fingers from this point on.
- Apply the first thin coat of Glow straight onto the plate, with no base. Keep the hand in the air and do not touch the underside of the free edge with the brush. Cure.
- Apply the second coat to the final result and cure.
- No top coat is needed: the finishing components are already in the Glow formula.
- Apply cuticle oil no earlier than 30 seconds after the last coat is cured.
On healthy nails Glow works with no base and no top coat, that is what one step technology is. If the plate is thin or bendy and the hands tend to sweat, apply an acid-free primer before the colour, and a base coat as well if you need it: on that kind of plate the mechanical adhesion of a single-phase formula may not be enough.
Curing time: 60...120 sec in an LED lamp. The time depends on the power of the lamp and on the diodes themselves, and has to be checked separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
How do I prepare my nails for one step gel polish?
Cuticle work down to a clean dry plate, shape, a 180 grit buff over the whole surface, dust off, degrease. Glow has no base coat under it, so the prep is the adhesion: everything a base would normally compensate for has to be done by hand here.
Which one step shades are hardest to apply evenly?
Pale ones and shimmer ones, and Glow is both. A shimmer sits unevenly if the coat is dragged back and forth, so each stroke is laid once and left alone. The second coat is what evens out the density of the particles.
How do glitter one step gel polishes perform?
The particles are part of the single-phase film, not a separate glitter layer, so the surface stays smooth and does not need a top coat to level it. Glow is stirred rather than shaken before use: shaking works air into the bottle and that shows up as bubbles in the coating.
Why does my one step gel polish look streaky?
Three usual causes: the coat is too thin to close the colour, the brush went back over gel that had already started to level, or the second coat went on before the first was fully cured. With Glow the second coat is the one that removes the streaking, so a thin even first coat is worth more than a careful thick one.
The colour on screen may differ from the real shade of the product: monitor calibration and the display modes you have switched on both affect it. If you have any doubt about the shade, get in touch and we will show you the colour in person.
