Gel Nail Polish - Sensual, 3 ml

Sensual Gel Polish, 3 ml by ReformA is a saturated red built on a cool blood-red undertone, opaque in two coats. A statement red for evenings out, stage work and special occasions.

Thanks to its cool undertone, this red stays clear of orange. It comes in a 3 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Sensual over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

Use it for

How to apply

1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
4. Apply Sensual in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to do anything to prepare for a salon gel appointment?
Come with clean, bare nails and skip hand cream and oil on the day, as both get in the way of prep. If you are booking Sensual for an event, mention the date, so your nail tech can plan the shape and length around it.

How is Sensual different from Almandine?
Both are saturated reds with full coverage in two coats. Almandine has a neutral undertone that leans neither warm nor cool, while Sensual has a cool blood-red one, so Sensual reads cooler next to it.

When is the 3 ml Sensual the better buy?
When red is an occasional colour for you: a single event, a few accent nails or a red detail in a design. The 3 ml bottle carries the same shade and coverage as the 10 ml one, just in a smaller size.
