Underground Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a navy blue with a violet undertone and full coverage in two coats. A deep navy for solid single-colour nails.
The violet undertone makes the blue deeper and slightly warmer than a pure cobalt. It comes in a 10 ml bottle with a brush. Apply Underground over a cured base and seal it with a top coat.

How to apply
- Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
- Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
- Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
- Apply Underground in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
- Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
- Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.
Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.
Frequently asked questions
Why does gel polish lift at the free edge?
Most often because the free edge was not capped. If the base, the colour and the top coat are not taken over the tip of the nail, water gets in, the seal breaks down and the coating starts to lift from the edge. Cap the free edge with every layer, not only with the top coat.
How is Underground different from Avatar?
Underground is a navy with a violet undertone, Avatar a true blue with a neutral one. Side by side, Underground looks darker and deeper, Avatar cleaner and brighter. Both cover fully in two coats.
Does Underground work under glitter?
Yes, it makes a good base for a glitter accent: a deep navy sets off gold or silver sparkle. Cure Underground fully, add the glitter coat and cure it, then seal with a top coat.
