Montreal Gel Polish, 10 ml by ReformA is a rich red with a warm undertone. A saturated, warm red for classic manicures.

How to apply

  1. Prep the cuticle area with Cuticle Remover: apply a small amount to the cuticle, gently push it back with an orange stick or a pusher and lift off the pterygium.
  2. Prep the nail plate: degrease it with a cleanser such as Cleanser, then dehydrate it with Nail Prep. Duo Prep covers both steps in one product. Then apply Ultrabond Primer for better adhesion to the nail plate. The primer needs no curing, it air-dries.
  3. Apply Rubber Base or Base Coat in one thin layer and cure.
  4. Apply Montreal in one or two thin coats, curing each coat.
  5. Finish with a top coat and cure according to its instructions.
  6. Wait at least 60 seconds after curing the top coat before applying cuticle oil, so the top coat keeps its shine.

Gel polish curing time: 60-120 sec in an LED lamp, 30-60 sec in a 48 W dual LED lamp. Curing time depends on the power of the lamp and its LEDs, so check it separately for each product.

Frequently asked questions

How do I load the brush correctly?
Wipe the brush against the neck of the bottle so that only a little Montreal is left on it. A rich red shows every extra pass, and too much product means flooding at the cuticle and visible ridges. Lay the colour down in a few controlled strokes and let it settle.

How is Montreal different from Aphrodisiac?
Both are rich, warm reds. Aphrodisiac takes its warmth from an orange undertone that makes it a touch lighter than a classic red, while Montreal is a vivid red with a warm undertone that looks clean in daylight.

Can I use Montreal for a French?
Yes. A red smile line over a nude base is one of its uses. Cure the nude base fully, paint the tip with a thin coat of Montreal, cure it, and finish the whole nail with a top coat.

Colours on screen can look different from the real shade: monitor calibration and display settings both affect it. If you are unsure about a shade, get in touch and we will show you the actual colour.
